map below is excerpted from a larger "buildout" map prepared in early 2001 by the Community
Preservation Initative, a program of the Executive
Office of Environmental Affairs.
The left arrow indicates a remote inholding (orange) in the Blue Hills Reservation that Lantana owner Paul Hart acquired in late 2001. The proposed swap would convey it to the park, and a similar-sized parcel covered by the right arrow (green) would be awarded to Lantana.
Note that the first parcel is labeled "undevelopable," and that the second parcel, with prime frontage just off 128, is labeled "permanently protected open space."
