Re: Proposed Land Acquisition, Randolph, MA

Dear Tom:

I called recently to discuss with you again the proposal made by Lantana, Inc. to acquire property at the edge of the Blue Hills Reservation in Randolph. I attach for your review and comment a draft of the proposed legislation.

Paul's plan is to obtain the formal support of the Town of Randolph in petitioning the Randolph-based legislators (both Senate and House) to sponsor the bill. Representative Walter Timilty has requested that he be given the names of the appropriate people at the MDC with whom he should speak. We have given him your name as someone who is familiar with the concept, and have indicated that we would also provide him with the appropriate program person with whom he should speak. Would that be Pat Flynn?

We would also like to meet with you and other appropriate MDC personnel within the next week to discuss Paul's proposal in more detail. Please give me a call to discuss this matter at your convenience.

Sincerely,
Jeffrey B. Mullan
